James Hudnall

James David Hudnall is a veteran graphic novelist. He has worked for Marvel, DC and Image. He has had one television show made from his comics (Harsh Realm, Fox 1999) and has several comics projects in development.

His Lex Luthor: The Unauthorized Biography has been called one of the best comics of all time by “Wizard Magazine.” It was cited in TV guide as an inspiration for an X-Files Episode.

He currently writes Blue Cat for with artist Val Mayerik.

His first novel, Hell’s Reward, is book one in a planned series of novels in the Age of Heroes series.

Hudnall is a professional writer and has been a writing teacher, lecturer, publisher, and internet engineer for many years. He’s also a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

He currently lives in San Diego, California.



Mike W Barr

Mike Barr is a veteran writer who has written for all the major comics publishers and has had a long association with Batman comics. In addition to comic books, Barr has written mystery novels, and science fiction novels. His book Once a Wizard for Fortan Media is his foray into the Fantasy genre. Mike is also one of the co-founders of the Malibu Ultraverse with James Hudnall, something they also share in common. Mike lives in Akron, Ohio.
